What a home office visit covers
Every setup is different, but a typical visit involves:
- Connecting and configuring monitors, docking stations, and display adapters
- Checking screen resolution, scaling, and display arrangement settings
- Setting up or troubleshooting Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet, including camera, microphone, and speaker selection
- Printer and scanner setup over WiFi or USB
- Checking WiFi signal strength in the workspace and recommending improvements if needed
- OneDrive, Google Drive, or Dropbox sync configuration
- VPN setup or troubleshooting if you need to connect to a work network
If there’s something else causing problems with your work setup, I’ll take a look at that too.
Working from home shouldn’t mean wrestling with tech

Yes. I'm comfortable with both Windows and macOS, including MacBooks with docking stations, external displays, and Apple peripherals.
I charge £50 per hour. A straightforward home office setup typically takes one to two hours. If I can't get something working, you don't pay.
