Got photos on an old phone, camera memory card, or USB stick? I'll copy everything across to a safe, organised location.
-
Set up automatic backups
I'll set up automatic backup so your photos are saved regularly without you having to do anything. Set it once and never worry again.

Organise and declutter

Recover lost photos
Think you've already lost photos? It may not be too late. I'll check what can be recovered before assuming they're gone.
Your photos are irreplaceable. A laptop or phone can be replaced if it breaks or gets lost. The photos on them cannot. I visit homes across Falkirk and the surrounding area to help people protect their most precious memories before it’s too late.
Why photo backup matters
Most people know they should back up their photos. Very few actually do it, usually because it feels complicated or easy to put off. Then a phone gets dropped, a laptop stops working, or storage gets accidentally cleared, and thousands of photos are gone.
It doesn’t have to be that way. A proper backup takes an hour or two to set up, and once it’s running automatically, you never have to think about it again. I’ll handle the whole process and make sure everything is working before I leave.
How I back up your photos
The best approach depends on how many photos you have, which devices they’re on, and what suits you best. I’ll explain the options clearly.
External hard drive: a physical copy of all your photos stored on a drive at home. It’s fast, reliable, and doesn’t cost anything month to month beyond the initial drive purchase. Good as a first layer of backup.
Cloud storage: services like iCloud, Google Photos, or OneDrive store your photos securely online. They’re accessible from any device and protect against physical damage or theft. Many people already have some cloud storage they’re not fully using.
Both: the safest approach is one copy at home and one in the cloud. I’ll set up both in a single visit if that’s what suits you.
Getting photos off old devices
Many people have photos sitting on old phones they no longer use, on camera memory cards, or on USB sticks from years ago. I’ll copy everything across to a single, organised location so you know where everything is and nothing gets lost if that old device finally gives up.
I cover photo backup across Falkirk and the surrounding area, including Grangemouth, Larbert, Bo’ness, Linlithgow, and Denny.
