Learning new technology doesn’t have to be stressful or confusing. I visit homes across Falkirk and the surrounding area and offer patient, friendly, one-to-one tuition at your pace, so you can feel genuinely confident using your devices.

Learning at your own pace, in your own home

A classroom setting, a YouTube video, or a manual written by engineers are rarely the best way to learn technology. What actually works is sitting with someone patient who can answer your specific questions, repeat things as many times as needed, and move at a speed that suits you.

That’s exactly what I offer. I come to your home, sit with you at your device, and teach you exactly what you want to know. No jargon. No rushing. No assumption that you already know the basics.

What people most commonly want to learn

I tailor every session to the person, but these are the topics that come up most often:

• Using a smartphone for the first time, or switching from one type to another
• Setting up and using WhatsApp or FaceTime to keep in touch with family
• Managing email safely, including how to spot scam messages
• Shopping and banking online with confidence
• Using a tablet for browsing, reading, and entertainment

Regular sessions available

Some people prefer a single session to learn one specific thing. Others find it helpful to have regular visits, building confidence over time. Either works well. There’s no commitment required beyond each individual session.
